On a day in August 2021 Rachel and Aled got married in Brecon, Mid Wales.

Rachel and her maids got ready on site in the Coach house and dressed in the main house.

They chose to have an outdoor ceremony and at time we were worried it would rain, but they were very lucky for the ceremony.

Rachel threw the bouquet and her bridesmaid really went for it.

We took advantage of the time when people were being called in to sit down to do some natural portraits, no distractions or people in the background, perfect!

The speeches were full of fun, laughter and maybe even a little singing by Rachels maid of honour.

And we popped back out for portraits at the front of the house as we had more time to play with after food and they wanted a little break, to walk off the food maybe. Another benefit of having the portraits after food is that you’ll be more relaxed and would have hydrated. The main reason of course is that the light is always better later on, less harsh, less high contrast on the face causing huge shadows, less squinting.

The couple invited their guests onto the dance floor pretty early on in their first dance, which was lovely but always make sure you give your video and photography time to get a couple of shots as video always do something a bit snazzy and this can take quite a few seconds to complete, before actually taking photos. Savour the moment with your other half.
