My love of photography started
when I was a little girl
I carried a film camera around in my pocket, I photographed everything and loved to capture memories. I decided I wanted a job in a creative field when I was quite young, I discovered drawing and painting and I loved it, I chose design as a career path and became a graphic designer.
When I was in my late twenties I decided to really get back into photography, so bought myself a digital SLR and enrolled in college. Over the years I gained a love for landscape photography and spent hours chasing sunrises and sunsets, from the beautiful Gower peninsula to the incredible Yosemite national park, California – famously captured by one of my favourite photographers, Ansel Adams.
I started photographing portraits and sessions for friends and family many moons ago, and had my first opportunity to photograph a wedding for an old friend, they loved the results and I loved doing it – so thats where it all started!
As well as creating beautiful photos, I love to play with light, to encourage flares into the camera and create an ethereal feel in my photos.
I’m a huge TV and film fan, when I was a teenager I would sit for hours and chat about films with my friends and how we would recreate famous scenes. I know too much useless knowledge from films and can quote some word for word - I promise that I wont. My favourites would surprise you. I live in Margam with my husband and two kitty fur babies.
I also love rock music, the sea, trees, the colour duck egg, flowers, astronomy, the world of Beatrix Potter, coffee and a sunset.
Well enough about me, take a look at my real weddings page and my blog to view a selection of my work, and if you have any questions get in touch. If you’re looking to book me as your photographer, please get in touch sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.
I look forward to hearing from you.
