At the end of April 2021 Jess and Jamie were finally able to say I do! These two lovely people were supposed to be one of my first weddings in 2020 but due to a certain virus, everything was put on hold. Two new dates, the original wedding venue being repurposed, plans for their second venue stunted by scaffolding and all sorts – but nothing could stop these love birds from getting married.
The ceremony was held at the family church in Maudlam and due to restrictions the reception was held in a gorgeous marquee in the grounds of the Court Colman manor.
Their gorgeous little furr-baby attended the ceremony and stood with them. Due to it being a small church and the rules in force I was only able to photograph from the back, but the photos from that angle look lovely with the stained glass windows as a backdrop.
It was a gorgeous day, the sun graced us with its presence, adding to the happy celebrations.
After food we headed out for some portrait shots and a little break. Theres so many opportunities on the wedding day to take 30 minutes out and spend it together away from the crowd, it also helps to slow the day down.
It’s always worth taking time out in the evening for those sunset or low light photos, commit to having incredible photos and memories you’ll have forever.
