In October 2024, Annlise and Tom tied the knot at the stunning Calon Lodge at Llanerch Vineyard.

Both the bride and groom got ready at the venue, allowing me to move between them and capture their getting ready moments. On my way between them, I had the chance to photograph the ceremony room before any guests arrived. It’s always a blessing when the couple is getting ready on-site, as I can easily capture elements that I wouldn’t have access to if I were arriving at the same time as the bride.

The ceremony room looked incredible, especially with the beautiful lighting as Annlise made her walk down the aisle. First, the flower girls came through, scattering petals as they walked, followed by the bridesmaids, who looked absolutely stunning. Then, it was Annlise’s moment, and wow—she looked breathtaking in her gown, walking arm-in-arm with her father.

The ceremony took place in front of the gorgeous flower arch by Panache Wedding Decor Hire, which I used creatively to frame shots and add layers to the photos.

Due to heavy rain, the grass was too soggy for guests, so everyone squeezed onto the hard-standing area to throw confetti. We also took group photos here, ensuring no one’s shoes got dirty or brought mud inside onto the venue’s pristine cream carpets. The beautiful vineyard backdrop made the location perfect, no matter where the couple stood.

After the ceremony, we headed into the woodland for some portrait shots and video with AME Productions. I absolutely love photographing in that area—there are so many great photo opportunities, and the Autumn leaves shone beautifully in the sun, creating lovely orange and red hues.

We then returned to the woodland marquee for bride and groom speeches and food.

To ensure we had some venue-specific photos, we carefully guided Annlise and Tom into the vineyard for some quick portraits amongst the vines.

As the evening progressed, I captured tons of fun moments during the reception. It was a lively atmosphere with lots of smiles and laughter!

Finally, it was time for the first dance, and Annlise and Tom had a special surprise for their guests. After a few minutes of slow dancing, they stepped off the floor, making way for professional dancers in elegant layered dresses, showcasing incredible moves.

The energy on the dance floor soared from there, and it gave me so much to capture.
What a memorable day!
