Lauren and Phil’s clifftop wedding

In May I photographed the wedding of Lauren and Phil at the Barn at West Farm, Southerndown.

What a beautiful day for a wedding, the sun was shining, the light was sparkling on the sea and two very happy people were saying ‘I do’.

Lauren is a fan of all things retro and is amazingly creative, in fact her whole family are – so I really couldn’t wait to see all her decoration and adornments, I feel these are the things that make a wedding so personal and reveal so much character. Her dress was perfect for her, and the Irregular Choice shoes sparkled as she walked – her maids perfectly suited her style in their own tea dresses and retro hairstyles.

The flowers were incredible, the florist had been given the task of producing a wild bouquet with a cottage garden feel, and oh my goodness they were perfect, the inclusion of herbs was incredible – not only did they look beautiful but the smell was irresistible!

From the minute I first saw Phil in the morning until the time I left he had the biggest smile on his face, he was a very happy man! and his outfit was so cool, again playing on the retro vibe and complimenting Lauren’s dress so perfectly! These two had the best day surrounded by their family and friends on the beautiful Welsh coast.

Hope you enjoy the photos, its a small selection from their gallery,
